the starry sky is perfect tonight
until i'm captivated by a brighter light
flowing from your elusive smile
and eyes that burn of intangable hope
yet like the sky, dark clouds block my view
and no longer can i see that amazing side of you
rain falls from the night's dark sky
tears fall from your dark brown eyes
falling so strong i lose in my sight
the stars and the fire that burned in you

The ocean draws me in to sink into its depth
yet its no where as magnetic as your arms
they draw me in so close and near you
it feels as if i could collapse into your chest
kept safe in your heart until i die
yet something about has turned cold
and the strength flees from them like the waves
contaminated is your mind by an unforgiving source
telling stories of lies and dammations
that are no where true to what you really are

and i remember the days
when your love surrounded everything
you were happy then
something's coming over you
if i could, i'd take it all for me
only to free you from this hell
i'd let the cracks tear through my heart
the tears to flow from my eyes
i'd rather go through all this pain
then you see you die inside
